For those wondering about Vandergrift's rescue being brown and West Leechburg's engine having the markings of "Tan Engine #1, it dates back to the Rainbow Control Center in Vandergrfit for dispatching emergency services. I'm not sure if everyone painted their engines the color assigned to them or not though. Here is a list from Vandergrift's website:

Designation Fire Department

Brown Vandergrift #1

Red Vandergrift #2

Blue East Vandergrift

Green Parks Twp.

Purple North Apollo

Pink Apollo #2

Pink Apollo #3

Gold Kiski Twp.

Silver Washington Twp.

Gray Markle

Orange Allegheny Twp.

Maroon Leechburg

Black Gilpin Twp.

White Hyde Park

Tan West Leechburg

Yellow Oklahoma

Burgundy Freeport

Copper South Buffalo Twp.

SS Kiski Valley Special Services

Interesting seeing Vandergrift (Westmoreland County), Brackenridge (Allegheny County), and Saxonburg (Butler County) at the same call. Thanks for the SW PA shots.

That was at a rather large garage (mechanic shop with tires stored inside) fire in Freeport. Saxonburg was there for manpower, Vandergrift for R.I.T I believe, and Brackenridge was there with their rehab squad since it was a rather warm day.
