east orange nj's 1971 alf was sent to denaples junkyard in dunmore,pa in 1993 when the american la france shops in throop closed it went to alf as a trade in along with old engine 6's 1968 alf that engine was also scrapped by them. they were traded in for the 3 alf century 2000 engines that were delivered in sept 1989.

Looks like this pic may have been taken at the very first Firehouse Expo in Baltimore back in '84. I was there that day.
