An update: Engines 21, 42 & 50 are all training on their new E\-One pumpers this week down on Moon Island. It is believed that this is the final part of the order, for now. After we take delivery of these 3 we will have 20 in service with 3 more to be delivered in 2018. There are also 9 more E\-One Metro rearmount ladders to be delivered over the next couple fiscal years; 3 this fall, 3 more in the spring & the final 3 next fall.

Skip, I noticed Engine 48's 2002 Pierce Enforcer was up for auction.  They didn't get a new E\-One rig did they or were they given a 2nd hand rig?

Both they & E32 are currently using spares. I believe they'll both be getting refurbished E\-One's later this year.

Thanks. Seems like hundreds of Pierces from 2001 thru 2003 have that issue.

First they get the new truck & then they get the new firehouse. Engine 50 has been relocated to Engine 32's quarters for approximately 12-18 months while their firehouse gets a total, and badly needed, renovation.

It's definitely on the radar. We're looking to partner with a developer to minimize our out of pocket expenses, plus in order to develop on the waterfront there needs to be a public access component per state law & a firehouse would meet that requirement. I believe that it will happen, I just don't know when.
