06/15/16 Southington, CT - An early evening fire tore through a vacant commercial building shortly after six p.m. Firefighters found heavy smoke showing from a one and two story ordinary constructed building. A interior attack was attempted, but firefighters were unable to make headway. An exterior operation was initiated using one tower and multiple hand lines to darken down the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown and being investigated. There were no injuries.
