At 0102 received a page for a house fire at 837 NE 69th Ave. Response was E19, 28, 9, 12, R19, T13, T25, C3, C4.
On arrival, Capt. Renhard, Engine 19, reported a 2-story house fully involved. He also reported a wire down and arcing at the A-D corner and another wire down at the A-B corner.
Occupants reported a man still inside, but arcing wires and heavy fire conditions prevented entry. After the heavy fire was knocked down, crews entered the building and found a deceased man. Another man was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
