Barn Fire - Foxfield, CO 2/11/14
#1
South Metro & Cunningham Firefighters were dispatched to a reported barn fire with horses trapped in the 6800 block of South Salida Street.  First arriving Engine 42 reported a fully involved structure and had to reposition a block over for access.  E42, E62 & M63 advanced several hundred feet of 2 1/2 and wyed off to two 1 3/4 lines for fire attack.  A 40x40 barn was fully engulfed and wind driven flames were being pushed into a fence, power lines, trees and already auto-exposed a shed.  Tower 35 accessed from a different property, secured a water supply and advanced a third 1 3/4" to top the fire spread.  I arrived about 10 minutes into the incident.
