DesMoines Fire Department was officially known as King County Fire District #26, so the Engine was Engine 26 , recently after the 2006 merger with Federal Way ( KCFD #39 ) now known as South King Fire & Rescue (KCFD# 39 ) it was Changed to Engine 67 ( Station was renumbered to 67, from Sta. 26 )
