Great thread, Ken. My notes on the 2 Milford, NS rigs indicate that they came from Halifax. #611 was a 1050/500/30 Thibault (T76-133); #612 was a 1050/300 Thibault (T76-115). My memory is that #611 was modified when it went to Milford.

Thanks Dave. That would be the 2 that Halifax ran but that I was only able to photograph 1 of them. I have a bunch more to post later tonight or tomorrow. Dave, do you have North Bay's ladder, that is one that I don't have in the collection.

Thanks, Ken

That one is going to be posted a bit later tonight or tomorrow. Interesting that Fredericton still has their elevating platform. I'll be in Fredericton for close to a week this July so we need to get together a couple of times Bobby. Cheers.

Hey, thanks for this great thread! I've always had fierce love for Canadian rigs from the 1960's - 1990's...from Piereville & Thibault to Superior and Hub, they had a handsome look that was innately Canadian.

I remember as a budding young fire buff being in Downtown Toronto in the summer of 1985 and seeing one of those SCOT pumpers rolling code 3. Seeing that "SCOT" nameplate stuck with me, and I always hoped to see one whenever my family took me to Canada.

I look forward to July Kenny!! I have a shot of the truck at LeBlanc's when it was in the process of being parted out......i'll look for it. I also have a shot of the Fredericton Platform operating a few months ago at a multiple alarm in Fredericton. I'll post that too.
