This is the X Irving Oil Refinery (St John,NB)Rig and was a: 1976 Scot C1FD / Fire-X 500/800AFFF Scot #36P655 (It had a shop number of 76-655 on the corner of the cab above the turn signals) I will assume this rig was dxed after Irving Oil but the NEW E\-One Foam Truck. SCOT C1FD Chassis - atlanticfiretrucks - 04-14-2010 Thanks John, The Irving refinery did dispose of this after geting the E\-One. It has been sitting in a salvage yard for about 10+ yrs now...I think it has met its ultimate fate and was recently cut up though. Did you manage to ever get a shot of this in service?? The old SCOT was sitting in the Fire Chiefs yard for awhile.....i'll see if I can find it.
No, I have never taken a shot of it but, yes, I do have shots from both sides of when it was in service in my collection...unfortunately, it was taken by a person who had to ensure it stayed "out" of the public eye and therefore I can't post these shots <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsdown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> but it was the deal I had to make to get them and will continue to live by it. Irving is a very, very private family owned Company and try really hard to keep it that way.
