6400 and 6900 are Dulles Airport, and Airport roadway boxes.
6200 box assignments are for Reagan National Airport

5100 AFD Station 201's
5200 AFD Station 202
5300 AFD Station 203
5400 AFD Station 204
5500
5600
5700
5800
not sure if they added any new boxes when they added Station 209, I haven't heard any 5900 boxes.
I hear a lot of 5000 boxes in the fairlington area between Alexandria and Arlington County, or at least I used to when I lived in the area. I don't have the Alexandria scanner on the internet all that often because it has PD as well as FD.

Co. 22 is better know as Greater Springfield
Also Co. 32s first due area was to the be the Original Location For Dulles Airport (Burke Center Parkway was to be the main runway (my father is Ex-FAA and confirmed this many years ago) Also Dulles is the only large airport in two counties (Loundon and Dulles)
Dulles Airport is in Loudoun and Fairfax counties, mostly Loudoun. Dulles is not a county of it's own !

LOL, tell me about it, the Doc just told me I had to get bi-focals...... whats next?
A walker and oxygen. I am wondering if I will need bifocals this year. My yearly eye exam coincides with my 42nd b-day and I have been thining lately that the glasses I used to only need to see far away aren't working so well for the seeing up close. That sounds like bifocals to me....eek

I would suspect the Newark Liberty is considered a large airport. About 2/3s are in Essex County, 1/3 is in Union County.

As long as I here, what caused Fairfax City to operate their own department? Did they just opt out when the County started?
Fairfax City separated from Fairfax County in the mid to late 1970's. They became their own independent jurisdiction. Including all city service, school, fire, police. Even their own dispatch center and radio frequencies. Although they still operate as an independent department they are a part of the NOVA fire services and are dispatched through Fairfax County. FFX County has had a "paid" department since 1949.
We had to pick up our front line rig at the North Apparatus Shop and I spotted the new TRSU (techincal rescue support unit) for FS18 (Jefferson). I got some double-dreaded inside the bay shots with my cell phone but here it is, still being lettered and outfitted. There were a bunch of early 1990's E\-One Cyclones and Freightliner ambulances stripped of lettering waiting to head out to the auction block. Also, noticed one of the tandem rear axle reserve E\-One Cyclone rescues had been relettered.

pretty good for celphone shots. My Droid X has a surprisingly good camera and the zoom actually works.

SrFireOffical,
According to B.L. at 418B That's the New Tunnel Rescue for 439.
Tunnel Rescue? So 439s area has no tunnels that I know of. I thought the only tunnel in Fairfax County were the one being built for Metro in 239 area and Dullues has their own tunnel rescue unit for the people mover at the airport.....
So for those who know more than me where are the tunnels located?
