This truck is gone now, but it was once red. refirbed with a Diesel engine and apparently painted the yellow color.

Is this the one that went to Huddleston, Va.? I am a former member of that department and they had it for sale, sitting in a sub-staion collecting dust as of last year....still in decent shape.

Does anyone have the "history" of this piece? It looks like it was rehabbed twice in the 3 pictures that were posted.

Post 153 shows it as a Grove Ladder

Post 156 shows it as a LTI Ladder and "super stick" on front of cab

Post 157 show MANY changes.... Light bars, ladder is white, bumper is smaller, headlights, turnsignals, mars light, and federal q, are all different and it says "super stick 2"

Thanks

Frank,

I forgot that this was once white over red. All the pics I have seen have been when it was slimed. Info below from Al Powell's files.

That truck was rehabbed so many times I lost count, but it was at least 3 times. Each time it was rehabbed "The Mills" bought a used truck to put in service while it was gone. They had a Mack L, a Ward La France and a cab forward Maxim that I can remember.

A little trivia about Mine Hill Township. Like a lot of New Jersey municipalities it was once part of another, in their case Randolph Township and was actually Mine Hill Co. 1 of Randolph which is why Randolph to this day has no Co. 1 but does have 2 through 5.
