Looks like that line is connected to a monitor pipe if you look at it close.

Correct. Yet another thinking out of the Box for a discharge. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/fireman.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Fireman' />

I remember being taught this trick as a rookie by F/F(Tech.) Buddy Poole, (RIP Brother, I miss you!) while driving Engine 10's pumper on a detail from 8!!!! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/3_12_21.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='3_12_21' /> <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/stirpot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Stirpot' />

The alley in that fire scene looks very familiar, anybody have a clue where it is? Possibly 19th Street around Dupont Circle NW?

Thanks in advance

I just got a new computer recently, and every day is a learning experience for me. My mission is to get my fire apparatus photos scanned and digitized and filed. I've been taking photos for almost 30 years now and this is only my third day of playing with it. Heres some DCFD photos from my collection, I don't have any current rosters, so please feel free to jump in and help me out.
