I am new at firetruck spotting and I don't have a lot of details as for years of makes, dates of service, etc.

Welcome, I don't care one bit if you don't know the make and model of everything. Please don't be scared off by some of the posters. I dont keep serial numers or lugnut sizes of all of the rigs taht I have worked on in 27 years in the fire service either. Please post away.

The Ford is the rapid response haz mat, supposedly for white powder incidents. I was told the Sterling rig held absorbent and haz mat equipment
