It was a POS when we had it . The trailer brakes never worked right.

Originally Truck 11 and 13 had 1993 Duplex/LTI tillers. In 2003 DCFD retractored these units with ALF Eagle Tractors and assigned to Truck 8 and 12. They were beat from the get go. Both Truck 8 and 12 received new Seagraves. The ALF/LTI tillers went reserve, but I never did see any of them being used as spares before they were dead lined.
the one on Gov Deals is T12. they list 2 VIN numbers, the one ending in 09997 relates to the 2003 American La France tractor. the other relates to the 1993 Duplex Tractor.

Yep, when I originally looked at the link it was on my phone, and I couldn't see it big enough. Truck 12 was renumbered Truck 392, which you can barely make out. Truck 8 was renumbered 393. The old Truck 8 should show up on there soon as well.
I just looked it up by the serial #

Patrick,

Correction on the numbers, T12 was 382 and T8 was 383.

[/quote]OK guys, I'm drawing a blank as to what these 1993 Duplex/ LTI tillers actually looked like, a photo of these units would be appreciated.

It was originally one of the Duplex/LTI's that were re-tractored.

Guess I don't have to try to convince my FD to win the bid and refurb the tiller with parts from our 2003 ALF Midmount with this info haha
A couple of Seagrave tillers are at the Seagrave dealer on Route 40 in Middle River, Md , they appear to be 2 DC tillers 1 had a white tiller cab & the other was a all red 1, not too long ago there was a couple of PG Co, Md 110' rear mounts. I was fortunate enough although it's usually hard to get near the Seagrave dealer, I shot DC Engine 16 when they had the Seagrave wagon with the eagle logo on the side .

Ronnie, I sent this to TCJ on FB. Would be nice if it could be saved. Maybe LRB will let the shops help redo it. Back to the crack pipe, what am I saying? LOLOL

Stay safe, Brothers.

Just saw this on facebook not to long ago. This is old Truck 15, 1 of 2 that were refurbed like this. The other was assigned to Truck 8, it ended up here in Central PA a number of years ago at a local truck shop with the bumper all messed up after a crash it had been in.

Nice that they replaced the windshield and some paint but left the melted lightbar in place...
