How many alarms did this go to? Lot of companies out of the area on scene (E-29, L-14, E-8). I guess they either relocated and were called for relief and/or salvage?

Nice shot of My baby!! Car 44 is indeed the fire investigator. The unit with the stick was Car 9, Fleet Maint vehicle. SmokeFDNY, I think it was a 2 Alarm!! DCFIREMAN was the incident commander!! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Thumbsup' />

Can we get better shots of Car 44 and the fleet maint vehicle?

Seeing coverage of this fire on TV made me wonder how much more security and back ground checks are DC firefighters and EMT's / Paramedic subjected to during the hiring process since they would be having access to such places as the White House and all of these other high ranking government buildings. Can anyone help me with this?
Well we hada fire at the Old Executive Office Building today. A few things of interest

No Secret Service Emergency Service Units

No TL 3

Arlington County sent its command post and an EMS Supervisor. No DC Command Post
Why would Arlington even come at all?

Guest

Damned if I know but you see em like I see em.

Better question where was SS Emergency Services with their two big trucks that supposedly have pumps on em so DCFD will never have to respond to the WH EOB Complex?

Anybody have a clue. Cosgrove??

Guest

awsome pics lime. did TL3 ever get dispatched?

Guest

It should have been there but I didn't see it. Maybe they were using a spare
