Nice Chief, I love the pics of apparatus working.
Excellent photo's , love to see the DCFD in action !!!
Great photos Chief. I can't recalled ever seeing a TDA, as the reserve truck, humped up like that at the fifth wheel. We had many TDA's during the years but none that had to be jacked like this one.

I was just wondering if anyone could give me the address of the nearest DCFD stations to the Tourist areas? I will have 9 hours there in January and wouldnt mind stopping in at a station. Anywhere near the White House, Lincoln Memorial, Capitol or Newseum would be great. Probably only have time for one station. Also any fire stations near the Arlington National Cemetery?

According to google maps Engine 2/Rescue 1 is close by but cant really tell if they have space to move the trucks outside for some nice pics?

Eng Co 2 and Rescue Squad 1 would be your closest to the Newseum but you are right there is not a lot of space top move them outside. If you are there on a Sunday it could happen as there is not a lot of traffic. However right down the street from Eng 2 is Engine Company 3 . They have a large ramp and the Museum is there also. If you let the Museum staff know you are coming they can possibly make arrangements t let you in. Here is their websight http://www.friendshipfire.org

Hope this helps

Merry Christmas

Also been Looking at E13/Trk10/Foam1 which looks like its not to far from where i will be. Would that be a good place to visit as they appear to have a large selection of trucks.
