Imagine this if you will, orignally this piece was to be a stand out/show piece for Hamerly so they wanted to paint it in a unique color scheme. The orignal plan from Hamerly was (are you ready for this)... the Riviera Red and the part that is gold was to be Slime Green. Ronks QUICKLY said no to that but liked the idea of Riviera Red and Cadillac Gold so that is the colors they went with and have since painted all of thier apparatus this color scheme since. Can you imagine how terrible this piece would have looked if Les and Leo would have convinced Ronks (who is mostly an amish department by the way) to paint how they wanted!!
