Love that part of town. Good pics.
Does Chicago Fire Department have anything being built at EVI in Florida for Chicago O'Hara International Airport?
Thanks in advance.
Alex, I believe they have a new command van being built for O'Hare, 2-7-8.

Chicago Reserve Squad. Ex Eng 23 outside Air Mask on N. Orleans.
Air Mask 6-4-6
Any new apparatus on order; i was reading that they where looking for new squads any news?
Last I heard they are still looking for a builder to do the "snorkel". Pierce says they can do them but at how much becuase they would be re-engineered since ALF won't let the rights to the Snorkel platform, Central built the last ones but has since become Rosenbauer. They are also doing specs at this time for a new breathing air/ medical oxygen supply truck along with some new air mask trucks to replace the aging ones.
The last few days I stopped by academy south and discovered a bunch of rigs lined up while the members were getting some kinda G8 training..The first day I had bright sun but the rigs were badly sidelit...the next day it was very overcast so I experimented with some fill flash...Here’s the results
