Eric...those are fantastic shots, any idea where Edgewaters canopy cab Dash went? That rig always struck me as a classic fire engine. Also, no truck on this order, heard that last shift, not sure what happened but it got scratched from the order.

Both engines end up for sale. I can get the website when I get home.

Thanks Brian!  The Lance open cab is still for sale from what I was told.  One of the Lieutenants at Larkspur has a long family history with Edgewater and his father helped spec the squirt.  The Chief was able to get the purchase approved and they bought the rig directly from the city before the others were listed.  Too bad about the Truck, but the new pumpers will be great.  I wonder if 18's will get one?

I'm interested to see the listing John, thanks.

DIA is 25 square miles with a lot of open fields and deep drainages.  In the winter it might be the only vehicle in the fleet that could safely travel in deep snow to off-road emergency incidents.  It will soon go to storage until next winter.  Several fire departments around Denver have snow cats like South Metro, Castle Rock & Elizabeth.

It's sad to see a Department like Edgewater get merged into a bigger department but it's not surprising in this day and age. Here are some shots of mine from either 1994 or 1995 of the Edgewater fleet. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day but I think the pictures came out ok, especially considering I'll never have another chance at reshooting these rigs. First up is Engine 1, anyone know the disposition of this rig?
