Jim - It was gone long before that ever happened.  When Clayton County opened "Station 13", the former JFD aerial was the old Yellow 7 from Hartsfield, seen earlier in this thread.  JFD members told me years ago that the old Snorkel was sold to an unspecified FD in south Georgia.

Ashburn, Virginia’s (Loudoun County) Rescue Engine 6 was this 1996 Pierce Lance 1250/500/20 with job number E9669.  Served as a great extrication unit for

Ashburn until 2009.

Ashburn’s Pierce Lance was sold in 2009 to the Tasley VFD on the eastern shore of Virginia.  The Tasley members did a great job getting the Pierce in service, which included some red paint.  Glad to see it having a second career with a great department.
