DCFD Photos, old or new
Philly's procurement office would not accept a vehicle from a defunct manufacturer so the dealer was stuck with it.

So did they accept any of them?

My immediate first thought on this rig was that it looks like the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree of Fire Engines. Poor thing.

Most of them have been in service for over a year. I think they are posted here somewhere.

Any idea what truck company this rig is headed to?

Anyone have an idea what DC has on order for truck companies? I have heard there are at least 2 Spartan tillers, the Philly LTC aerial, possibly a used aerial or two and now at least one seagrvae tiller.

(4) Spartan ERV tillers and the ALF are the only ones I've heard of so far.

Thanks! DickH posted a link to a photo of T17 at Seagrave under construction, maybe a refurb/major repair?

That picture probably 12 years old. That is their 2003 truck which is long gone into the reserve fleet.

IF your talking about the Pierce/Hahn last I heard it was in storage o/o/s, someone closer to the department could probably tell you better.

No, it's still being customized and should be in sometime in March. I'll try to get some updated pics this week.
