We got a visit at work yesterday from the Las Vegas Fire and Rescue Fire Inspectors office on a complaint. The Inspector termed the complaint as UN-founded and closed the file. I took the opportunity to get a picture of the rig.

 

He told me that the department is in the process of putting all new and different kinds of decals and graphics on the rigs.

I was out with the wife going grocery shopping and I had a chance to get these pictures of one of the Newest additions to Las Vegas Fire And Rescue fleet.

UPDATE: ENGINE 10, RESCUE 10, RESCUE 210 (OCCASIONALLY IN SERVICE AS IS NEEDED AND STAFFING AVAILABLE), AR1


 

They share quarters with Rescue 10

 

I was able to talk with the Captain for little while and he stated that the two units in that station run approximately 10k to 12k calls a year. They are the busiest companies in the city and the state. He stated that the only issue with the new rig is that it has way too many bells and whistles on it.

I knew that there was talk of adding a Rescue Unit to Station 33, Clark County Fire Department, but I had not seen the new Rescue Unit. I was able to catch it at the Cosmo Fire this past weekend so though I would add it here.

Also at the Cosmo fire was LVFR Heavy Rescue 44. I thought I would add it here also.

This is the one and only times that I have seen this unit. The pictures were taken with an old Cell Phone.
