I new at 5 years old that I wanted to be a fireman and at that age I would always say that when I grew up that I would be driving that truck. It turns out that this was the first Ladder Truck that I drove after going on the job in 1987 and was the Truck that I had my first working fire with as a driver on a Ladder. If you are able to get the pictures for me I will get my contact information to you. Thanks.(04-22-2010, 04:17 PM)Guest Wrote: Orchard Park,NyThat truck went from Orchard Park, to Grand Island, and on to Manchester. I've owned the truck now for four years. This truck was a prototype displayed by American LaFrance and CDN Research and Developement. It was a twin agent unit built on an English Reynolds Boughton BR 44 chassis. Hi, The Chassis on the picture is indeed BR44. the cab is a Ford Transit A Series from 1980. Reynolds Broughton built also used the Dodge Cab but this one is a Ford Transit Series A.
