Sad to see the latest FFX deliveries are minus Roto-Rays...

Dave,

A little birdie told me the Dash pumpers have been pushed back until January of 2008. I also heard a third Mack Granite/Pierce tanker has been added, and two heavy rescues on Velocity chassis may soon be roaming the streets of Fairfax.

Two (2) Velocity Heavy Rescue rigs are a fact.... Not sure about the Tanker, I didn't do the order on it.
Mechanical engineers build weapons, whereas civil engineers build targets.

When the man at the door said," Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms", I, naturally assumed it was a delivery!

Thanks Jerry and YeOlde for the info. I guess I am glad to hear the Dash's are pushed back to early next year. My late August/early September trip wasn't going to be in time for their arrival anyway. I have to look at what I want to shoot when I am in town. I am going to try for a few quantum rescue engines that are lime green.

Two new rescues are on order for the County on Velocity chassis, and a noted publication that covers metro Washington DC area says that the Pierce midmount tower that had been ordered has been changed to a rear mount tower which will be assigned to Tower 401 in McLean. I recently heard that the new Fairfax County Dash pumpers will be delayed for arrival early next year. The previously mentioned noted publication mentions assignments of the Engines to Great Falls (412), Clifton (416) Gunston (420) and Fairview (432) and will have CAFS.
