I guess I no longer need to post anything here....... I take my photos when the opportunity presents it's self.

I'm with Tim here, I may have to post my FFX County shots on a new post for only those who don't gripe about posts. One of these days I will start scanning my 1000 plus shots of every frontline FFX County rig from the summer of 97. Probably won't pass muster though......tough #$%^!

In all honesty, I am not real sure. My stop at FS 417 was a quick one and I wanted to get the new 2008 Pierce. There was another Pierce sitting behind the Canteen, but I did not check it out. Next time I am in the area I will stop in again.

Anybody else been to FS 417 and FS 438 in Centreville recently?

Mike and Jerry,

I only shot the new E 417 when I was there in October. I didn't pay attention to anything else, sorry.

To everyone, please do not let one or two "complainers" about picture quality keep you from posting your pictures on here. If they don't like it, they should keep their comments to themselves. I think it's probably a fair comment to make for the masses here, that we like the pics and you should keep posting them. I try my best to get good quality pics, but like most of us here, we have no control on weather and if it's the only opportunity you get, you take it........keep posting the pics !!!!

17 had two Pierce engines, a 96 I think that was E417 and then V090 which was the Javelin that I've heard so much about but never saw before they did the glider kit. That was the rig marked 438. The 96 suffered the same fate as V114 (13's 93 Arrow) and lost a motor. I think 17 already had the 08 on order or was in the process then so they put V090 frontline at 17 until the new rig came in and now the 08 is E417 and the glider kit is E417B.
