No problem, and it will be white over chrome yellow - no lime at Dunn Loring.

I've said if I had to be a part of a company with yellow rigs at least ours are really yellow and not slime lime. Now if we could just leave it out long enough in the sun to ripen to black over red.......
OK, I'm clear. I just got Shaun (chief413) mixed up with 417. Last question. Will the new engine for FS13 be county white/red, or volunteer white/lime?

Thanks everyone for you help - Jerry
Why are they replacing either piece of the Haz-mat as I thought they weren't that old or is my memory really starting to fade?

Sorry fellas - I will re-post them later today. I reloaded them from my camera onto a better computer to get better quality, replaced the originals on photobucket, and just now realized that doing so would erase yesterday's post <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/oops.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Oops' /> . My bad. I will have them back up by days end.

Correct.

Alright, thanks for the info. More than likely it will be going to a VFD near Goldsboro, not the City of Goldsboro itself I would assume.

Can anyone shed some light as to when Fairfax (specifically the Apparatus Committee) is going to come to its senses and stop making us the guinea pig with these Velocity abortions and those god awful mirrors. And don't forget to bring back the Roto-Ray as well. Kinda bull#$%^ the way it was just ushered out for NO good reason. Just asking.

I must agree that the new Squads look hideous. I have heard that the Squad guys can't stand em either. My votes for best county Squads in FFX's history are (not that anyone really cares: Squad 14 (Mack), Squad 1 (original-Pirsch I believe), Squad 26 from the late 80's / early 90's (the box was later added to an E\-One chassis) and old Squad 11 (the old school one that had the accident years back).

And yes, the Roto-Rays need to be brought back asap.

Hi guys,

I joined this site a few months ago. I've learned allot about Ffx Co from reading your info. Thanks. Surprised at how much I didn't know about the county I volunteer in. Enjoying the old pics too. I'll answer questions if I can.

Be on the look out for me in Fairfax County in the upcoming future... I was never very interested in county run fire department apparatus before (I think I described them as all the same piece with different numbers).. but being in Fairfax has struck a chord with me for some reason LOL.
