RS-1 called for a full rescue assignment and went to work. Among units assisting them were Engine 2 (who was also on the 21st & H Box), Truck 10 and RS-3. March 12, 2010

Still in service is Truck 10’s 135’ E\-One rearmount. The rig was originally assigned to Truck 6 in 1989 and went to Truck 3 in 1997. In 2001, shop serial S-381 was rebuilt, retitled as a 2001 truck, and assigned to Truck 10.

Can you explain the nozzleless prepiped water way? if that's what it is.

Thanks and happy saint pattie's day.

My immediate first thought on this rig was that it looks like the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree of Fire Engines. Poor thing.

Does anyone have info, photos, etc. on the fire trucks the Metro has to test the standpipes? I've heard the have (or had?) two trucks for this specific purpose. Anyone in the know?

I liked the pattern on the windshield - Engine 21 on the plug, 19th and Sunderland Pl. NW, 2nd Alarm fire 1320 19th St. NW. S-163 is a 2006 Seagrave. March 16, 2010

These next few shots are from the 2010 St. Patricks Day Parade in Washington, DC. A great day despite early morning rain showers.

Truck Co.13 and Truck Co.15 made the arch for all to pass under.
