I only know that the second rig after the Jeep was the black over red rig and I think that may have been a REO however I don't have the date that the deluge assembly was transferred to the final (white over blue chassis). As far as the first version responding to a fire , I would have thought so however I can't say with 100% certainty but I did see the Chicago Fire Department doing a live Water pumping test on the Original "Big Mo" next to the Water Filtration Plant (north of Navy Pier) in the Spring of 1967 and the rig had remained upright at the time.

Does this rig respond to all high rise incidents ? What kind of equipment does it carry ?

From what I was told, this unit responds on all 2-11 high rise fires. As to what equipment it carries, I'm really not sure. Some of the local Chicago buffs may be able to answer that one.
