I went out yesterday morning.The clouds ruined my morning so I ventured out in the afternoon.One of the drivers from Rescue 421 moved it for me.Very nice crew.

Wow Trey, it seem's like yesterday when they started on Station 412, and now it looks almost completed. Any pics of the interior yet? And folding bay doors...thats not cheap!

I think they have moved into the station, not sure though. 12's new medic unit should be in the county by late march.

[/quote]I didnt get any pics of the inside.It is a very nice station.The back apron is still being worked on.I guess thats where the temp station stood.They told me it might be headed to 10's area for their contruction.

What does the Technical Rescue Support Unit carry? Are there ones equipped for the various disciplines or are there others with similar equipment? And does the shop turn the truck into an emergency vehicle or an outside vendor?

This unit is a reffered to as the tunnel rescue unit by most people. It was purchased with grant money for the tunnels at Dulles and the metro tunnels in tysons. I believe it came wired up as an emergency vehicle.

T410 is still there. I think they still go over to FS428 for the night though.

12 is compete and as of my visit 2 weeks ago were operating 100% out of there (though using a county reserve Engine and Medic). Not a bad house - though it still feels a bit like a factory IMO. Folding doors rock. The yuppies in Great Falls should have few complaints about the aesthetics. Too bad 16 got boned into looking like an antique store to please the local yocals.

And yes, Truck 410 still spends the night at "Buffalo Ridge" (FS28).

FS12 in service - with reserve Engine and Medic. There is another bay next to the Medic that I couldn't fit in the shot.
