Around 2:05 am on 12/29/2013 Groton, MA fire received a telephone call from a passer by saying that the slaughter house at Blood Farm was on fire.  When companies arrived they had heavy fire in the smoke house section of the building.  Groton was assisted on scene by crews from Townsend, Ayer, Pepperell & Lunenburg.

 

This was the conditions when I arrived around 2:57 am.
