Quote:Lakeside is quite honestly a joke. It's Colorado's smallest city at 0.2 square miles with a population of 20. It encompasses the lake, the amusement park and a handful of homes. They have a good sized metal frame building that houses the ex-Edgewater pumper and chevy stepvan. Rumor has it there are also some old DFD ALF pumpers in there, but they refuse to allow photographers in. They technically have a city fire department but not even their neighboring FD's know what training & equipment they have. I'm assuming if there ever was a fire Denver & Wheat Ridge would bardge in a take care of it.Speaking of possible ALF's owned by Lakeside, here's a picture I got back in 2009. This poor old ALF 700 model was sitting out in the open, just to the west of Lakeside's main complex. Last time I was past there last Summer, it wasn't there anymore.
