Castle Rock Fire Rescue held dedication ceremony's yesterday for their two new Engine's. Although conditions weren't ideal for posed photos I was still able to get some decent shots of the rig set ups. CRFD contracted with KME to build a standard Engine, a Rescue Engine and a Quint for a price tag just under 2 million dollars. The Chief, Chaplain & Mayor all spoke before each rig was backed into the bay for the first time as an in service unit.
Rescue Engine 151 - 500 gallon water tank, 40 gallon foam tank, 1750 gpm two stage pump. This is CRFD's busiest company.
