I tried this for the first time tonight. The wife even liked it amazingly enough. I came up with this on my own, but getting influence from some recipies that I saw somewhere.
The wife bought a small pork roast for dinner yesterday. I opened it up, with the intent of cooking it yesterday, but at the last minute she decided she didnt want that for dinner. So I figured I would marinate it for 24 hours, but in what??
First I dry-rubbed it with montreal chicken seasoning, which is great for pork.
Then, I coated it generously using a bottle of BOARS HEAD brand CREAMY HORSERADISH SAUCE. Put it in the fridge wrapped up last night, and tonight put it in the oven at 350 for 30-35 minutes per pound. The Horseradish sauce browned nicely, and combined with the seasoning, made a crusty coating. IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!!!
I served it with some mashed potatoes and made a gravy using some of the drippings, water and corn starch.
Sometimes I do so good in the kitchen I amaze even myself! LOL!
