This last Thursday on spring break, myself and a member of the Illini Railroad Club did some railfanning in the Chicagoland Area (Blue Island, LaGrange, and Lemont). Here are some of the notable pictures from each location. Blue Island first...you have three lines coming together at this point...the Indiana Harbor Belt, CN\IC, and CSX (former B&O). Can't forget the Metra's Rock Island to Joliet passes overhead just to the south.

Saw six movements in about 20 minutes, all on the IHB, with 1 Metra.
