London fire brigades new 210ft ladder.

Have not heard John, so I dont know.

Admittedly they are big, but since the Grenfell tower incident, LFB are in need of large ladders.
These also have the platform as a lift. so in the event of people rescue, old ladies do not need to negotiate 210 foot pf ladder.

That makes absolute sense, Pete, at least for those within reach of the ladders and unable to escape on their own (no comment on Grenfell here).
