Ah, don't feel too bad, Frank. We have no brakes on our 700 Series ALF right now. Mario has the two carburetors pulled off of it as well so that we can get them rebuilt. We need to replace the alternator on it, too. The list goes on with that truck.
I'm not sure if you heard about the entire ordeal we had with the transmission in the Squrt, but compared to that, all of these other problems we've encountered are simple.
You'll get there. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Sorry to hear your having probs with the ALF. Hope they get straightened out soon. As I mentioned overall the 2 mechanics that are both in our club give my squirt a good grade. When we drained all fluids they looked good. And we replaced all the filters. We need to do the steering oil and then grease the truck and then the annual service will be complete.
Question for you and Mario. Can you change out the hydraulic oil for the squirts? I see a door on the back where you can add oil. But is there a place to drain it and replace with new oil? Also, is there a filter that can be changed out and a new put in?
We've gone over this whole truck, and with the service manuals found just about everything else, but with the squirt and the mechanics of it, want to make really sure to change the oil on this if needed.
Take care
Frank
