Terry great shots! Thanks!

It looks very close to the specs for the Fairfax County Dash pumpers except for the crosslays in place of the speedlays, the husky foam system and of course the 300 GFT, which I assume is B not A. Fairfax City has a large gasoline terminal in the City, so the City has always run a foam unit.

Great Shots. I've noticed, a lot of companies are putting the "cones" back on the Q2Bs to project the sound more forward than outward.

Thanks for the compliments! It was not my best work but I did manage to get someone to move it for the drivers side before he went to lunch. I take what I can get !!!

You can see my shots of Rescue Engine 33 in the Northern VA thread. I was in NOVA a few weeks ago and I ran across the Quantum Engine 403 and Truck 403. I will try to post them in the Northern VA thread something this week. Not sure I can get them resized, etc tonight.

While visiting Singers last week I noticed a new truck in the yard and a few seconds later I noticed this beautiful 2007 Pierce Dash 77" cab105'aerial going to Reston. It seemed a little funny that now that the Dash is on its death bed the county started on or at least got a 77' cab for this truck, anyone know why this one has the bigger cab. Is the Dash on its death bed? I know the XT Quantum and one other will remain.
Reply
Yes, the Dash has been discontinued, replaced by the Velocity and Impel. As soon as they are out of 2006 engine stock there will be no more Dash until they redesign it (if they redesign it) to handle the 2007 engine standards. The Arrow XT and Quantum will remain with the new Velocity and Impel but the Dash, Enforcer, and Lance have been discontinued.

John,

The Lance,Dash and the Enforcer are toast as soon as the 2006 engines are gone. The Quantum,Arrow XT,custom Contender and I believe the Saber will live on with the new Velocity and Impel to take the place of the departed.
