NOZZLEMAN'S PICTURES

Sitting behind the station was a Reserve Tele Squirt that was being used by Truck 82 while theirs was in for Preventative Maintenance. The Captain that was showing me around was surprised when I said I would love to take a picture of the rig

This unit is parked behind the Heavy Rescue and is used in cases of hikers being hurt on the trails around the area It is pulled to the scene by the Heavy Rescue and once they reach the victim they have Metro's Search and Rescue Team air lift the person out.

I am not sure on that I know the Engine Companies, Truck Companies, and Chief Units are still White, but the Rescue's are Red and White. I will try and find out if they are when I visit the next station and let everybody know. I hope they don't as I like the color scheme of their rigs.

I just found out not too long ago that we have a company in Henderson that Rehabs and Refirbs fire equipment so I stopped by to see what they have on the lot. I did not go on the lot since they were behind a wall and did not want to bother them without first setting up a time or date to come by so here is what I have from the gate.

I see FDNY's old Rescue 5 HME and what could be an LAFD Seagrave behind, plus several Navy rigs.

I sent them an email asking about stopping by to take pictures of the rigs and take a tour and was told that I could but that next week was bad since it is Firehouse World week. I have set it up to stop by the following week and take some pictures and tour the plant I will post them when I get back.

I thought it looked like one of theirs but was not sure.

There are also a couple of CCFD Rigs there also. I know there was a big right up in the paper out here about them and that they were covered on one of the news stations. They also rehabbed Parump's new rig saving them a ton of money.
