Another triva question for you all since you seem to like them, what was the only station that had a boat that had to be pulled by the front line engine......

I'll guess 420
420 has the Brush Truck <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/stirpot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

11,12,and 20 but I think there are more
Its not 11, 12 or 20. I mistakenly overloaded 10 and not sure how it is pulled but that was not the answer I was after. So I will keep you guessing for another day. This station doesn;t have to have the boat now but could have had one for years and years in the past.
Bailey's had two boats, a Boston whaler and smaller outboard type.
The following stations at one time another had boats assigned up through the early 1980's. 10 - 2 11 - 2 12 - 2 14 - 1 16 - 1 19 - 2 20 - 1 23 - 1 25 - 1
Everything on that list would have some sort of utility type vehicle at the station, except for 25. So that is my next guess.
Notice his question said what "was" the only station...

10 was my 1st as They have no utility/brush.
My 2nd is 23 as they too have no utility/brsuh! 32 had Brush 32 which is now 441!

West Annadale had a jeep
Fairview had Clifton's old Power Wagon and one the mid '80's Ford F-Wajax
25 had a brush truck when it had the boat. My original answer and 10 maybe a candidate to be correct was intended to be 35. The engine had a recessed tow hitch built on it.

Is this fire pics.net or fire trivia.net? :-)

ok no more trivia [/quote] I was going to start another question. Paul would have to give others a chance to answer. So, who had the boat?
Pierce has a shot of new Engines 411 and 430 on their flickr site.

Paul & Nate don't jump in yet, give others a chance to answer. How many fire stations are there in the "Great State of Fairfax County"? Bruce |
