Water Supply Engine 55, one of two large diameter hose engines staffed with driver only. It responds on all fires in the geographic area west of Rock Creek. Shop serial S-128 is a 2000 E\-One, formerly reserve Engine 51. Image is M St. at Thomas Jefferson St. NW, August 6, 2010.

Correction, this is one of 3 water supply engines staffed with a driver only. E53WS, E54WS, and E55WS are all staffed with a driver only.

Aside from E53WS, E54WS and E55WS staffed with a driver only, are there other Water Supply rigs and where are they quartered?

Thanks in advance.

This was a 65 footer and stayed in service until 1956. It was sold to a junk dealer! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Icon_crazy' /> <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Banghead' />

The view from Engine Co. 21 as a basement level transformer vault blows on the T St. side of 1875 Connecticut Ave NW. Engine 21 was in service with reserve E-62 (S-146).
