Chris,

Used Engine on both to avoid the "why do guys call one a wagon and the other engine" question(s).

Still prefer the wagon, engine, and reserve engine designators that Fairfax used way back when.

Sometimes wake up a night hearing a radio GA of "box 406 routine transport from 11901 Baron Cameron Ave Rescue-XX" at O'dark hours. That a certain poster on this board used to broadcast.

Ramp shot of Bailey's X-Roads VFD station, flattened when Leesburg Pike was "bridged" over Columbia Pike. Notice the traffic on RT-7 when this picture was taken, somethings never change.

Yes Paul, I can tell you without a doubt that was one place that I memorized, as there were more calls there than some other highly active areas in the county !!!

Engine 20 - Gunston (was originally Reserve Engine 5 at Franconia VFD - bought by Fairfax County, as it had a 750 gal tank, and they needed extra water in Gunston's area - before they assigned a tanker there)
