Here are a few from Fluvanna County which I shot a couple of weeks ago. I thought I had a picture of Co. 1 (Palmyra), but apparently not! Hopefully someone else will post that one. This is the current building for Co. 2 (Fork Union). The Chief told me they hope to break ground on the new station in November.
Some stations shot recently in Fauquier and Warren Counties (in between train photography). All images by me.
The Plains
I shot this station 20 years ago, while the building is unchanged, the apparatus fleet was certainly more diverse back then. Does this co. still run a rescue squad?
Current North Warren station, Rockland Road has been deadended just before the US340 intersection and rerouted 1/4 mile to the south, making it a P.I.T.A. to get around to this station...

They no longer provide Rescue Squad service, as they sold the rig to a department in West Virginia that serves the area around the Snow Shoe Ski Resort, if my memory serves me correctly.
Remember, it's their Emergency, not yours ! Arrive Alive !

Also, I will defer to Mike Sanders on this, he's the one that let me know it was no longer in The Plains.

Thanks, I scanned the 1991 print, the main difference in the building is all 3 bay doors are now the same, also the 1976 Ford C/E-1 engine is in a large open-sided shed just before the RT55 RRxing, on the south side.
