ResQguy: Thanks, interesting that it doesn't have a roof turret. I drive a 3000 at work an I know that off site responses are somewhat challenging at times in traffic with a 10ft wide vehicle, just courious how it'll work out in D.C.

A roof turret would not fit in the firehouse or many underpasses downtown.

They really squezzed that in there I hope no one want to get into there lockers; I hope that firehouse does not have a basement.

What house is the Foam Unit being kept at? Doesn't look like E13/T10. I'm guessing E9/T9?

As if the bay doors can survive the current apparatus housed there... <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Hysterical' />

Anyone know of the disposition of the apparatus that the Lorton prison operated, I remember a commerical chassis GMC engine they ran in '95. Thanks.

(Acting)Rescue Squad 1 parked behind my firehouse last tour after being picked up from the spring shop. I believe this was Rescue 2s old E\-One.

They look good...hope they work out well!

Look at the flags in the "official" Pierce pictures with the engines in front of the flagpoles. the clouds and the lighting change but the flags are in the exact same spot. Seems to be a photoshop picture or something.

Yes, virtually all of the Pierce delivery photos are Photoshopped now. They've been doing this for at least 6 months, and IMHO, it looks cheesy.

Agreed, I was just looking at a recent delivery from this area and it looked the the rig was computer generated, not even a real Rescue.

It most certainly does. I didn't realize they were doing that.

Wondering what it that in front of the rig? It appears to be rotors from a helo.
