HAMER stands for HAzardous Materials Emergency Response. It's staffed by 4 Firefighter / Haz-Mat Technicians and responds to all haz-mat related incidents, train accidents and structure fires in the city. At fires they provide air monitoring and will function much like a squad, taking on engine and usually truck functions.
