One was crashed and auctioned off. It ended up at a Auto Broker in Geeseytown. I saw it there a number of years ago, but it didn't have which unit it was. The ladder wasn't there long. I'm guessing it has been gone from the Auto Broker for at least 3 or 4 years.

Ok I saw one on the news when someone torched some ambos at the fleet yard. DC hasnt had any rigs pop up on the auction site thae use in a long time
Thanks for the info on the Pierce/Grove. Didn't realize it was deadlined. Saw it at the academy less than 2 months ago. I know that both ALF/LTI's are on that list. Also, the new Medic 1 that you posted. Is it completely new or a remount like 11, and 15? Any idea what the other assignments are? I see another unit in front of it.

It's brand new, and that is Medic-8 in front. There will be 22 brand new Hortons, and 5 remount Hortons. I have no idea where they will be assigned until delivery.
Any big differences between this one and the other monster Medics they've been getting in? I do like that "Medic 1" is on a placard - should give them a lot of flexibility to move units around but keep them numbered correct.

Ambulance 11 and 15 are the only other International Chassis units previously bought (in 2010), and those were 2006 Horton boxes remounted. These 2011 units have all Whelen "M series" LED lights and some different compartmentation in addition to the HOPS system airbags in the patient module. The unit placards are ala PGFD.
Yep! 371 the Pierce is out, 385 the Seagrave is still kinda holding together. I had to tiller it yesterday for a few feet <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='^_^' />
ResQguy, do you have any info on this unit. is it an original DCFD or did they buy it from somewhere, not use to seeing The DC units with the Verticle Stipe on the box.
