I looked on the PFD Station Location page (http://phoenix.gov/FIRE/stations.html) and found an explanation. It looks like Station 44 got the units from Station 34 which is listed as being closed. Because 34 had a foam unit, 44's was moved. I would wager that the Squad got moved because there wasn't enought room with the addition of Engine, Rescue & Foam 34. As for Tanker 54, you can see that (along with MANY other southwest fire apparatus) over on anglefire.com (http://phoenixfirepics.angelfire.com/PhoenixFire6.html)

The fire station list that you posted is not up to date. Fire Station 59 opened in August and the companies from Old station 34 are now at Station 59.
Here is a link to a more current station list. Station 59 is in the right column toward the bottom.

This one's really out of order, but I was at Sky Harbor the other day and managed to get Station 19...sort of.
Station 19 is one of two ARFF and structural stations for Phoenix Sky Harbor IAP.
3547 E. Sky Harbor Blvd - Battalion 19
Engine 19, Attack 19 (RIV), Foam 1, Foam 3, Battalion 19
I was only in a position to get the back of the station, since the front is air side. But, they look pretty much the same.

Continuing on...
Phoenix Station 29 - 3949 E. Air Lane Way - Battalion 19
2nd Structural + ARFF station at Sky Harbor IAP.
Engine 29, Rescue 29, Foam 2, Utility 29
Structural rigs run from north bays (closest to camera)
ARFF rig runs from south bays

This is the [old] Station 1, which is right next door to the [current] Station 1. It is where the South Deputy Chief has office and quarters

Time for some *far north* Phoenix stations...
First up...
Station 45 - 2545 E. Beardsley Road - Battalion 6
Engine 45, Rescue 45, Brush 45, Support 45 (Tech Rescue), Car 957 North (Safety Officer)
I'm not really sure who built it or why it's like this, 'cause Phoenix doesn't usually go cheap on Fire Stations...It might have been built as part of a developer deal or something.

Even further up the road...
Station 72 - 33027 N. Cave Creek Road - Battalion 6
Engine 929, Squad 29 (station doesn't have it's own companies yet)
This is a really great looking station but it sits wayyyy back off the road and I didn't have time to stop. I'll add this to the "go back sometime..." list
I'll post two photos of this station so you can see the architecture.
