Good Pics Nate.Anyone know what Eone Pumpers will be sold off since this will bring 4 more Pierce Dash Pumpers to reserve status?

Thanks. I got texted by a buddy from Fairfax yesterday that a few were at AES, so I responded ASAP! Lol. Like I said to a friend, these new Velocity's are probably the closest think you can get (appearance-wise) to the 2005 Dash's (except for the beloved Roto-Ray's), especially the red bumpers with the unit number. The weird looking stripes to the left and right of the unit numbers on the bumper are actually tape and will be removed prior to going in service. Well done Fairfax.

Nate,

Adding to what you said, hands down, I like the Rescue style bodies with Coffin Boxes far more than the new bodies on the Velocities, but at least they have the Red bumper and look a "little" more like the Dashs.

Nate, that's not West Ox shop is it? I agree with Trav, I like the rescue body of the first Pierces but the hydraulic ladder rack will be a big improvment. I also don't see the stations individual patches/logo. What's up with that Fairfax? They look great. Both engines in our station now have shorter wheelbases, we can walk between them easier.

To my knowledge Pierce is not responsible for putting station logos/patches on rigs. The County has allowed logos on the current rigs so I don't see them squashing the concept now. These were taken at AES in Gainsville, and probably delivered Monday.

The County will put the company decals on.

Nate, with your permission and photo credit to you, I would like to print one to show the guys at 21

Anyone have any shots of the interior of the new Velocity cabs? I'm looking more for the layout of the rear seats etc.

Chevrons only in the rear - and definitely a big improvement in the color scheme. Again, sorry for not getting the full pic. The rig was about 5 feet from a closed garage door.
