From what I have been told both Manassas and Stonewall Jackson VFD (Prince William County) will be getting Arrow XT's

this should go under another topic, but since there is such a large following here I will post them

FS21 has gone through alot since I last took pictures. The back bay is unpaved and muddy. Engine 421B and our reserve ambulance are being garaged at two different locations.

The first pic shows BC corner. We will now have two drive through bays from this side and gear storage similar to what is going in the newer stations.

second is AB corner. Added onto the dayroom/kitchen, this will be the new and enlarged female bunkroom.

AD corner will give us a community/training room. This is in front of our vol office which will be sliced in half with a hallway to this new room. BC office will remain in it's current location, except for construction of this area on the inside.

At the risk of being politically wrong. You have that big of a female membership?

And last for now. Because of construction the gear lockers were moved into bay 4. We were already tight for space, this is why the TROT Support Truck is parked outside and our engine and ambulance had to relocate.

The police side is coming along fast. It was raining today and to save space here, I will post those later.

Thanks for looking.

Bruce,

Where is the engine relocated to? I may be down in the near future and would like to get some photos of it.

Tim, 2 shifts have 2 females each, occasionally 3. We sometimes have vol crews stay overnight with 2 more fm. Their bunkroom only has two beds so the overflow goes into the old EMS bunkroom or the vol office that has murphy beds which we will loose. It causes problems. This larger room will eliminate that problem.

Patrick, E421B is at FS15.

Correction on my postings. First pic i said the back bay, it is the back ramp that is unpaved and muddy. Since it was raining, I didn't take any pics of the police addition, but will do it soon and put them up.

Stonewall and Buckhall have Arrow XT's on order, Manassas has not gotten that far yet according to my source. Dave lets call this the NOVA body since it started in Alex, then Dale City, then FXCO and everyone else but Arlington.

So Buckhall's gonna try Pierce again?

New Engine 423 - from what I have been told this batch are the shortest in length out of the Velocity's Fairfax has purchased.
