As some of you know I have moved from Las Vegas, Nevada to Hazleton, PA. Today was my first day out taking photos and I think it was a great day. I was on my way back from one of the Hazleton Stations and found this gem just down from where I live.

The rig is for sale if you want me to get the number let me know and I will.

Inside the station was sitting a 18?? Hose Cart. The Cart had been sold to a collector and was found dumped into the Delware River. The Department had the hose cart refurbished and not it sits on display in the day room of the station.

Thanks Steven. I just moved to Hazleton, PA and this was my first day out. I plan on going to a parade in the morning and seeing what I can get.

This old timer  was sitting behind the Hazleton Station. They were going through the unit and had found a crack in the pump. When they get it fixed it is going to be shipped overseas for a Department that does not have any decent equipment to use.

Your very welcome.
Today I came across an ad for this pumper on Hemmings ... asking price is 12,000.  From the pictures, she does look clean and in good condition.

Sadly the head gasket went kablooey while pumping at a fire and it was not shut down right away, it is a pretty piece and looks fantastic but I wouldn't touch this with a 10 foot pole or more money than it takes to buy a large slushie at Turkey Hill... caveat emptor!!

Posting this one here. It was on the scene of Oder of Smoke around the corner from my house today. Normally I would be at work but I was home due to foul winter weather.

Hello all, sorry about not having been on for a while. A combination of Computer and heath issues slowed me down

As most of you know I moved to Hazleton, PA last year and I have been trying to get pictures of the rigs as I can. Here is one that I took last fall.

HAZLE TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT runs this beautiful Seagrave TDA as Hook And Ladder 4. Sorry about the bad shot across the parking lot I have seen it out a few times but never had a good chance to photograph it. They were on the scene of a gas leak and leaving when I got this shot

I believe its a 1994? with a refurb in the past two years Ex Paxonia FC truck 34 lower Paxton Twp outside Harrisburg PA. It still sports their company motto, 'ominous non verbus" or 'deeds not words' on the fuel tank.

My immediate first thought on this rig was that it looks like the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree of Fire Engines. Poor thing.
