After a few years, Paulding County decided that they didn't really need it and it was sold to Cobb County, GA where it ran as Ladder 12, then later as Ladder 16.

In 1974, Syracuse, NY placed seven Hendrickson 1871S/Pierce Maxi Pumpers into service, each equipped with a 55' Hi-Stream aerial device.  The Hi-Stream was manufactured in Edgerton, WI.  The only other known Hi-Stream was sold to the Edgerton FD.
